King Tut
Q) How were you remembered by the people? What were you known for?
A) Though I was only a pharaoh for only a short period of time it seems that lots of people still remember me. I did not expand Egypt's border or have and victorious achievements but I believe that I was known for giving throne at such a long age. I'm not sure but I believe that I was nine years old when I was given the throne after my father, Akhenaten.
Q) Do you remember any great achievements?
A) Though I did not have an amazing accomplishment I do remember making sure I stabilize the government. I also remember restoring the temple, after my father, to honor my god, Amarna. In addition, I also rebuilt the ruined temples my father had wrecked.
Q) Do you know what impact you had on your empire?
A) While I was ruling, I tried to take the concept of women and how they were being treated. I wanted to change the way men were treating women and tried to give more rights to women. Sadly, though women were treated more fairly, they weren't given the same amount of rights as men. I also tried to keep peace in Egypt. So while I was ruling, I believe that there weren't any wars.

Pharaoh: Ramesses II
Q) What were one of your greatest achievements?
A) I expanded Egypt's border and I re-established Egypt as major power in the middle east. I also built many temples and monuments.
What people say is that one of the most impressive building I had built was a temple at the location named, Abu Simbel. Also I built an 11 foot statue of myself from granite.
Q) What were some important decisions you had to make?
A) Though I lived up to my 90's the most hardest decision I made was signing the first peace treaty with our enemy, The Hitties. We had been in war for a very long time and they were invading our lands for long period of time too. It was very hard to make the decision of having the first peace treaty.
Q)How did you become a pharaoh?
A) I became a pharaoh after my father. My father was also a pharaoh and after he died I took his footsteps and also became a pharaoh. Because my father had already accomplished many things and left behind many unfinished, magnificent temples, I was able to accomplish much more.

Why was the government of Egypt stable under Ramesses II?- CEE
Egyptian's government under Ramesses II was stable because of the way he ruled Egypt and choices he made for the civilization. One reason why we think this is because from our textbooks we learned that Ramesses II became a pharaoh after his father. His father had left with unfinished tasks that were later finished by Ramesses II which lead to an huge accomplishment. This supports our conclusion because of the reason that his father left Ramesses II lots of things to finish, he was able to accomplish much more. Another reason why we think this is because from a website (11) it states, "He was the first king in history to sign a peace treaty with his enemies, the Hittites, ending long years of wars and hostility. The treaty can still be considered a conclusive model, even when applying today's standards." Ramesses II was known as "Ramesses the great" because he made the first peace treaty with their enemy, Hittites. This was one of his accomplishment that kept Egypt stable. Our last reason why we think this is because from our textbook we learned how Ramesses II built many temples, pyramids and statues. This meant that he had great control under Egypt which meant the the Egyptian Civilization was stable under Ramesses II. Therefore we can conclude that Egyptian's government was stable under Ramesses II because he made the first peace treaty, accomplished many things through his father and great control.
